IPSA World Congress 2025 takes place in Seoul, S Korea
You can view all of the panels that will form the RC14 track at the conference by visiting https://wc2025.ipsa.org/wc/track/rc14-politics-and-ethnicity. Please do try to support your fellow RC14 members and participants by attending other panels associated with the track where you can.
The other important thing to note is that the RC14 Business Meeting will be taking place at 12:45 local time (UTC+9) on Tuesday 15 July in room 3F 317A (see https://wc2025.ipsa.org/wc/rc/rc14-business-meeting). Please do try to attend if you're able to, as this will be a chance to hear about the recent and upcoming activities of the RC and to help shape its future plans. We also need to elect a new Chair of the RC14 Board.
The agenda for the Business Meeting will be as follows:
Update on RC activities since last World Congress
Future plans, including the 2026 RC14 Colloquium
Diversity monitoring update by Ryo Nakai
Election/re-election of RC Board members (see https://sites.google.com/view/ipsarc14/membership/rc14-board)
Note: Sheetal Sheena Sookrajowa intends to step down as Chair having served since the last World Congress; no other notifications of resignation have been received but nominations for a new Chair and new ordinary members of the Board are welcome!
Any other business
There are no formal arrangements for online participation in the meeting and it's unlikely that we'll have access to full hybrid facilities, but since we know that several key members of the RC are unable to make it to Seoul, we will try our best to facilitate participation for those not on site, via Teams:
Meeting ID: 335 252 287 419 5
Passcode: d9PB7uE2
