Welcome to my portfolio!
My name is Ionatán Biniamin Maghidman, I go by Ioni. Originally from Brazil, São Paulo. I'm based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I graduated the bachelor of games design of RMIT University with high distinction.
Currently I work as a Motion Graphics Designer for Champion Data, a sports company that provides statistics and graphics for sports in Australia and abroad, including cricket, AFL, golf, netball, etc. I mainly use Unity and Unreal to deliver graphics, as well as Viz Artist.
I run a small indie studio called Quadrado Studios with 3 fellow graduates of RMIT. We are currently developing our first complete game, Garganta, for a future full release on Steam.
As a generalist, I am passionate about multiple areas of game development, predominantly producing, programming, 3D art, writing, music and sound design, though I always continue my pursuit to explore new areas.
Highlighted Projects
Procedural Island Generator
A tool I developed in Unity using C#. It is capable of creating an endless number of different landscapes using perlin noise. It is also capable of painting said landscape with a texture and also populating it with props depending on the resulting texture.
Instrument Visualizer
A golf pylon made in Unity that demonstrates the scores as well as other statistics of the Liv Golf tournaments, used by the show hosts to comment on the current state of the game from their recording studio.
Miss. Input
A game jam game I made in 2 days. A simplistic 2.5D platformer with a twist: every time you play the game, the buttons that control your character get shuffled! Resulting in quite the humorous gameplay.
