Sign-up and pairing take place between January and August of the application year. For example, if a mentee is applying to programs during the fall of 2023, they can sign up for the program starting January of 2023. Early or late sign-ups may be accepted depending on mentor availability.

One-on-one meetings begin in August of the application year. This is followed by resume reviews and essay reviews until December.

Mock interviews begin in January of the following year, i.e. once official grad school interview invites are received by mentees and before graduate program interviews begin. For example, if a mentee applies in the fall of 2023 to meet an application deadline in December of 2023, and is invited for interviews in January of 2024, mock interviews will take place starting in January of 2024.

Mentees exit the mentorship program after their last graduate program interview or a wrap-up chat with a mentor, typically in April. At this time, mentees complete an assessment to provide feedback on their experience with the mentorship program.
