Program Information

The international applicant mentorship program started in 2021 to consolidate, streamline, support, and expand existing mentorship efforts. 

The program aims to help prospective international students improve awareness and understanding of the genetic counseling profession, prepare for genetic counseling graduate school applications and interviews, understand the complexities of being an international student in graduate school in the U.S., and navigate nuanced considerations about life in the U.S. as an international genetic counselor.
