Smita is an entrepreneur and leads a genetic counseling consulting company that provides comprehensive cancer and cardiac genetic care to patients. Her career as a genetic counselor for the last 20 years spanned working in adult genetics in university settings and working as a lab/industry genetic counselor. She is the current co-chair of the International SIG of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC).
Grace Kavanaugh, MS, CGC
Grace is from California and graduated from the CSU Stanislaus program in 2020. She always aspired to live abroad, and after graduation she moved to London, UK, where she now works as a research genetic counsellor. She has been involved in research, education, and mentorship related to international genetic counseling and is the current co-chair of the International SIG of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC).

Tanaya is a cancer genetic counselor at the Yale-New Haven Hospital where she strives to provide her patients access to genetic testing and help them understand their risk for inherited cancer syndromes. She received her first Master of Science degree in Biomedical Genetics from VIT, India, and her second Master’s degree in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling from Sarah Lawrence College, NY. Sarah Stewart, MS, CGC is a Canadian genetic counsellor with experience working in clinical and academics in the United Kingdom and the United States. She is co-chair of the Pediatric and Clinical SIG and active in the International SIG.
Monisha Sebastin, MS, CGC
Monisha is a genetic counselor with experience in Research, Leadership and Clinical care. She received her Bachelor of Technology degree in Genetic Engineering in 2014 from SRM University, India and her Master of Science degree in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling in 2018 from Sarah Lawrence College (SLC) in Bronxville, NY. She is the Senior pediatric and research genetic counselor at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM) where she specializes in pediatric genetics, cardiovascular genetics and immunogenetics. She is a member of the NYCKidSeq research study team and clinical rotation supervisor of genetic counseling students from SLC. She strives to be a resource for students aspiring to pursue a career in genetic counseling.

Arpita is a cardiovascular genetic counselor and science content writer. She is passionate about and actively involved in education, research, and mentorship. She obtained a Bachelors of Engineering in Biotechnology and completed her genetic counseling training at the University of California, Irvine.

Michelle is a cancer genetic counselor. She splits her time between clinical care and research. Michelle graduated from the University of Michigan Genetic Counseling Program in 2015. She is originally from Canada and currently lives in the United States.
