Steps to Prepare a Ligand Library

Searching for Compounds

Option 1: 

By Name or CID 

1. Go to PubChem

You will see the PubChem Homepage Interface (Figure 1)

2. Type the compound name (e.g., Aspirin) or CID (e.g., 2244) in the search bar (Figure 2)

3. Click the search len to view the compound (Aspirin) summary (Figure 3)

Option 2:

By Structure 

1. Click on the "Draw Structure" button in the search bar (Figure 4)

2. Use the molecule editor to draw a custom structure (Aspirin)

3. Click “Search” to find similar compounds or exact matches
