An argumentative essay is written with a purpose to take a position on an issue, and give several reasons, supported by evidence, for agreeing with that position
Step 1: Analyze the topic, understand what you have to do, explore different perspectives of the topic, look for clues and limitations
Step 2: Plan the essay:
Introduction(Thesis statement)
Body Paragraph 1-Supporting argument
Body Paragraph 2-Supporting argument
Body Paragraph 3-Opposing Argument
Conclusion
Step 3: Choose your position
Ask questions to yourself about the topic
Write down your ideas on paper
Separate all the positive and negative points
Pick 2 "for" points and one "against" point
Step 4: Begin your writing
Get started with a clear conclusion and an enticing hook
Give a brief about your arguments in the thesis statement
Give two paragraphs with arguments and proper evidence in favor of your position; don't say things that aren't true
Give one argument against your position with a rebuttal
Wrap up the arguments in conclusion, and give a 'food for thought'; don't introduce a new argument at the end
