"I have always been really into photography, but it was just recently that I got my first digital camera and decided to dedicate a lot of time to taking photos. My favorite type of photography is portraits, so much of my work involves people. This piece in particular was inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest... it was a woman with a white sheet in a dress next to a beach, and since it's Colorado and we obviously have no beach I decided to put a different spin on it. Also, my younger sister (in the picture) has always been insecure about her side profile, but then ended up loving this picture so I am very happy to have captured an insecurity in a way that made her feel better and see it in the way that others do!"
