Reflection

As I wrap up this course, I was yet again left with an eye-opening experience of how valuable IST is in today's fast-paced world. I was able to perform research regarding different industries on how they use information technology to help their businesses grow and succeed. There are so many benefits to using IT. I have a personal hands-on experience with this because I work for a small-business owner and since he has integrated IT into the workspace, his business has really taken off. He has added mobile ordering, an interactive website, physical gift cards, and delivery with Doordash. I am a firm believer of "work smarter, not harder". Sometimes, change is good. I think those who are not integrating information technology into their workspace or everyday lives are living in the past. Technology can help us much more than we think, especially with features like artificial intelligence. When used correctly, these tools can be beyond helpful and serve a great purpose, which is my main takeaway from this course!
