The main assignment for this week, the Hardware Dissection Lab, showed me more than I could have imagined. This lab took longer than I expected to complete, but at least I gained a lot of valuable knowledge from it. I had no idea the work, big and small, that went into each piece to develop a computer, or any piece of technology. The most time consuming aspect of this lab was labeling the parts. This was because I was unfamiliar with what each part looked like. I was using the website given, watching videos, and doing my own research all at the same time. It seemed as if each piece of technology names their parts something different, which also made this difficult to come up with one specific answer. I had fun exploring the evolution of hardware in computers. To see where we originally started and where we are now is far too complicated for my brain to comprehend. Technology is growing faster than I thought.
