This week I got back into a routine with a weekly discussion post. At first, I didn't realize the internet and the web were so different. Getting to differentiate the two and explain what they are used for, as well as how it all started was very interesting to look into. I also learned the key differences of various domains, like .gov, .com, .org, etc. This shows credibility in the URL and helps categorize websites. This is crucial when referencing and attributing websites for any of my assignments. Lastly, sometimes searching specific things on the internet can be tricky, especially when there are so many results that are generated in today's digital world. I learned some tips and tricks on how to use keywords, quotes, and file types to refine my searches.
