Indivisible Polk County is a local movement of everyday Oregonians organizing on the ground to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the United States and to build a real democracy that works for all of us.
Indivisible Polk County promotes democracy by providing tools, training, and strategic coordination, and connection to members of the Polk County, Oregon community.
We know that democracy only works when everyday people organize, show up, and hold those in power accountable.Β

Indivisible Polk County researched and questioned County Commisioner candidates on their priorities and values. We are proud to share our findings and recommended Jeremy Gordon and Roxanne Beltz.
We are happy to share that Jeremy received a significant portion of the vote in the primary and recommend him again for the November runoff election!
The "SAVE" Act would require every voter to show proof of citizenship, like a passport or original birth certificate, when registering to vote in federal elections. That might sound simple, but the reality is that millions of eligible voters donβt have these documents readily available. Because these bills would require showing this proof in person, it would eliminate online and mail-in voter registration.Β
Indivisible Polk County stands against the senseless violence perpetuated by ICE in our Oregon communities. We demand that our members of Congress stand up against attempts to provide further funding to ICE and Border Patrol and step in to shut down ICE's detention centers. Further we demand accountability, transparency, and immediate and independent investigation into incidents of violence involving ICE and Border Patrol agents.
