Indivisible Polk County is a movement comprised of our own community. We are your neighbors, friends, and colleagues - everyday people who work to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the United States by advocating at the local level.
Indivisible Polk County (IPC) promotes democracy and works to stop the rise of authoritarianism by providing tools, training, coordination, and community connection to the people of Polk County, Oregon. While our work is based on the framework designed by the national arm of Indivisible, our priorities are decided on by our own community.
Power lies with the people, both in our country as well as our organization.
We are committed to non-violence and prioritize safety and security for all.
We strive to always educate ourselves and grow as individuals and as an organization.
Our organization strives to create spaces where everyone is welcomed and valued.
We facilitate spaces where folks in Polk County can have their voices heard and receive support in enacting positive change.
All community members must have equitable access and opportunity.
We collaborate with a variety of non-profits and organizations across the U.S. to maximize our advocacy efforts.
