We invite you to discover the IE Virtual Gallery with its changing exhibition of IE artworks, created by Lebanese VR Designer Maya Kaaki. With this virtual space, IE gives a boost to the creators and artists of the IE Community.
The IE Virtual Gallery can be used for large scales events of up to 500 people connected simultaneously; or to conduct classes and other collaborative learning activities.
Spatial.io is a virtual world, dedicated to helping creators and brands build their own spaces in the metaverse to build community and share creative works and products.
USE CASE: Students' Final Poster Exhibition in Spatial
Prof. Francesco Furno had his students exhibit and present infographics, their final piece of work for the course, in a virtual gallery in Spatial. The final critique from the professor and and external jury took place virtually.
If you are a hands-on professor, and you want your students to "build and create" things in the metaverse, Spatial is well suited.
Spatial was founded in 2016 with the goal of making designing experiences for high-quality 3D collaboration easy and accessible. Spatial is equipped with tools and integrations to make setting up your own space a seamless creative process.
There are many ways to create spaces in Spatial:
Drag and drop 3D models (i.e. ones built in Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, Gravity Sketch, etc.).
Import environment models from Sketchfab with the Spatial integration.
Use our many free templates, designed by world-class designers.
Spatial Creator toolkit (requires experience with Unity)
Feel free to share these instructions with your students!
We have created a User Guide to help you get started with your Spatial account, create your avatar and how to enjoy full immersion in the VR headset.
Important: To easily get to the IE Virtual Gallery in the VR headset, make sure to visit the gallery on your PC first by clicking this link. This will save the IE Virtual Gallery among Your Spaces and you can access with one click from inside the headset.
