Here are a few simple steps to follow before you jump into your first immersion experience.
Get started using your headset
Here are a few simple steps to follow before you jump into your first immersion experience.
STEP 1: Charge
Charge your headset by plugging in the charging cable on the left side of the headset.
STEP 2: Switch On
Once charged, turn it on by just pressing the power button on the right for two seconds. Then follow the instructions on screen.
STEP 3: Comfortable Fit
Watch the video before you strap on the headset.
STEP 4: Set-up Room & Guardian
Oculus Quest will guide you through a guardian setup process, to create your safety boundaries in VR. Make sure to have enough obstacle free space around you!
STEP 5: Connect to WiFi
You should automatically get prompted with WiFi networks nearby. If not, click on the Wifi Icon in the menu bar, bottom left, as marked on the picture.
Select your WiFi network and confirm your password
STEP 6: Go to VR Apps
Go to the Apps installed on your Oculus and start your immersion by clicking on your Library, as marked on the picture.
You can also search for new Apps in the Oculus Store (yellow bag icon marked on the picture).
