What are the forms of teaching that utilize ICT?
In the realm of general education, ICT can be applied in various teaching forms, such as:
Direct instruction supported by ICT involves delivering the entire lesson content or subject matter in the general education curriculum. ICT tools are used to support the process of direct teaching in general education institutions.
Online instruction supporting direct teaching at general education institutions involves conducting a part of the lesson content or subject matter in the general education curriculum to support direct teaching of that lesson or subject at the general education institution.
Online instruction replacing direct teaching at general education institutions entails conducting the entire lesson content or subject matter in the general education curriculum to replace direct teaching of that lesson or subject at the general education institution.
Online instruction consists of two forms:
(1) Synchronous online learning (real-time interaction).
(2) Asynchronous online learning (non-real-time interaction).
