ICO International Spring School 2020
March 16-20, 2020 - Rolduc Abbey, Kerkrade, The Netherlands
“The international networking conference for all PhD candidates in Educational Sciences“
Are you a PhD student in the domain of learning, instruction and/or education? Are you eager to learn, and to practice and improve your research and presentation skills? Do you want to meet your international colleagues and learn about their projects, and share ideas?
Then come to ICO's international research event: The ICO International Spring School 2020, at the abbey of Rolduc in the south of the Netherlands.
You will spend 5 (or 3) days in the Dutch hills, between March 16 until the early afternoon of March 20, 2020. During this week you will participate in workshops given by international researchers, and you will be able to learn from the keynote addresses of two renowned scholars in the field of educational sciences. You will also present your work to each other, after which experienced researchers and your peers will provide you with feedback. There is also an extensive social programme, which allows you to really get to know your international colleagues and build up contacts for life.
We are expecting PhD students from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and other countries. Are you going to be one of them?
What to expect:
- Participation in two advanced workshops related to methodology and themes within the educational sciences
- Share your research in a paper, poster, or a round table presentation, and receive and provide feedback
- Join the extensive social programme, which allows you to really get to know your international colleagues
Within the venue there are sleeping facilities, and we expect everyone to stay and fully embrace the experience of sharing a week with other scientists within your research field. If you have special needs, or requests about the sleeping facilities or the meals, let us know in your registration form or contact us.
Registration: Registration will open in December 2019.
