Installing the Wheels

The final part of building the RoadRunner 5 is installing the wheels onto the servos. The wheels have a hole with gear teeth that mates with the gear hub on the servo. Use the screw from the servo to secure the wheel to the hub.

Add the top platform by snapping it onto the front pillars. The top platform can be used to hold additional sensors, lights, or interface devices. It also covers the wires below and makes it easy to hold.

When programming the RoadRunner 5, it can be turned upside down so it won't wander away when the servos turn.

The next step in completing the RoadRunner 5 is programming the Arduino to move the servos and use the ultrasonic sensor to detect distance and avoid obstacles.
