Book direct: a travel subsidy covers half your stay

Book directly with us for a stay between 1 October and 25 December 2026, and the Kyushu Recovery Travel Subsidy (Kyushu Fukko Ouen-wari) covers 50% of your stay, up to ¥20,000 per guest per booking. Overseas visitors are eligible. For guests living outside Miyazaki Prefecture.

Example: December weekdays, 2 guests. IBII STAY 1: 2 nights 42,000 yen, you pay 21,000 yen; 3 nights 63,000 yen, you pay 31,500 yen. IBII STAY 2: 2 nights 62,000 yen, you pay 31,000 yen; 3 nights 88,350 yen with the 5% long-stay discount, you pay 48,350 yen (the subsidy is capped at 40,000 yen for 2 guests). With the subsidy, every extra night costs you half. Rates vary by date, and we'll confirm your exact total. Gear rentals added at booking are half price too. For example, surfboard and wetsuit for 3 days: 18,000 yen, you pay 9,000 yen.

• Only for bookings made directly with us (this form or Instagram) and paid on arrival. Not for bookings made through other booking sites.

• New bookings only. Bookings already made on other booking sites can't be switched to a direct booking.

• Leisure trips only, not business trips.

• For guests living outside Miyazaki Prefecture. If you live in Miyazaki, you're welcome to stay at the regular rate.

• We handle the Japanese paperwork. The lead guest just signs one form at check-in.

• Limited budget, first come, first served. Cancellation fees are based on the full price before the subsidy, not on the amount you would pay.

Cancellation policy

• 1–6 nights: free up to 8 days before arrival, then 100% charged

• 7–27 nights: free up to 15 days before arrival, then 100% charged

• 28+ nights: free up to 31 days before arrival · 50% from 30 days before · 100% from 14 days before (fees are based on the first 30 nights)

If you don't arrive, the full price is charged. For stays using the travel subsidy, all cancellation fees are based on the full price before the subsidy, not on the amount you would pay. Here's why: we register your booking with the government subsidy program at the full price. If you cancel, we have to report the cancellation to the program, the subsidy no longer applies, and under the program's rules the cancellation fee is paid by the guest.

Payment

Once we've confirmed your dates, we email you a secure card payment link (Square). Your booking is confirmed when it's paid, and if you cancel in time we refund the same card.

Stays covered by the travel subsidy (1 October – 25 December 2026) are the one exception: the subsidy rules require payment at the house, in cash or by card.
