Make sure to log in to your My Study Abroad account and complete any remaining requirements on the While Abroad and Returnee checklist. These might include items such as your return flight or address while abroad.
Some programs require you to formally request your transcript, while others will automatically send it at the end of your program. If you are unsure of which applies to you, reach out to your Education Abroad Advisor or view your program's page within this guide. Should you need to order your transcript from your institution abroad, utilize the following contact information in your request:
Stewart Schrof, Academic Records Coordinator for Study Abroad
Graduation and Graduate Support
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
901 W. Illinois Street, Suite 140
Urbana, IL 61801-3446
USA
Please note that a delay in the arrival of your transcript to the Registrar's Office will greatly delay the processing of my study abroad coursework and posting of grades to your Illinois transcript. If you are planning to either 1) apply to graduate within the next semester, 2) apply to medical or law schools in the future, and/or 3) need official transcripts for your own use, please make the proper arrangements with your host institution or program provider to have them sent directly to you or to the institution requesting the transcript as well. The University of Illinois will not be able to provide official copies of your international transcript to you or any third party.
Get a free study abroad T-shirt by completing the Student Perspectives Questionnaire in My Study Abroad! Submissions must be completed by September 15th for academic year, spring and summer programs, and February 15th for fall and calendar year programs. Your feedback will be utilized to evaluate our programs and advise prospective students.
