Salvia Phyllis Fancy

We always like to try new variaties of plants, and that was the case with Salvia 'Phyllis Fancy' in 2005. This plant is thought to be a cross between Salvia leucantha and possibly Salvia chiapensis. This turned out to be a great plant for late summer and early autumn hummers in our yard. The plant has grown to 6 feet tall with a 5 to 6 foot spread and it is covered in light lavender flowers. This has been one of the best plants for our late hummers. The photo above was taken on October 13, 2005.
