Salvia indigo spires
We had success in overwintering this salvia in a pot during the winter of 2004-2005. It blooms quite nicely in a pot or in the ground. This salvia is thought to be a cross between Salvia farinacea and Salvia longispicata. The hummers used this to a mild to moderate amount.
