This cuphea has larger flowers than the other three cupheas on our website. It is a striking image to see a hummingbird feeding from one of these flowers. Unlike Cuphea 'Vermillionaire' which may be in flower when purchased at the garden center, these plants usually arrive without any flowers. (Cuphea micropeteala is not available locally, and thus we must obtain this plant via mail order.) This will start blooming in mid-summer and continue blooming until frost.
