There will be very limited time to practice this before your checkoff, so coming prepared is in your best interest.
You will only be allowed a maximum of two (2) attempts.
Remember, you must also complete and pass the associated quiz before attending intensives.

Tips for IV Infusions and IV Medication Administration
Always check compatibility before administering multiple IV medications through the same line.
Always double-check the rate of the administered medications, including IV infusions and IV push medications.
Remember to clean all ports and vial tops and allow time to dry.
Ensure all air is clear from tubing and syringes prior to administration.
Needle safety! Engage the safety on the needle after withdrawing medication from the vial.
