Get started with Hub Gig Reader on Android

Hub Gig Reader (HGR) helps delivery drivers filter gig information and hear matching offers aloud. Choose the workflow that fits how you receive offers, then set up and test HGR while parked.

1. Install HGR for Android

Download Hub Gig Reader: Gig Alerts on Google Play. Check the listing for device compatibility, availability, pricing, and in-app purchases.

2. Choose how HGR finds offers

Roadie search assistance

Use this workflow to check supported offers visible in Roadie against your preferences. Roadie scanning requires Android Accessibility access. HGR assists with repeated search steps and announces matches; it does not accept gigs or change your account settings.

Notification Mode

Use this workflow for supported delivery-app notifications, including services such as Bunji, Frayt, and Curri. Notification access lets HGR read supported notifications for filtering and spoken alerts. This is different from scanning an app’s offer screen. When AI extraction is used, notification text may be sent to a third-party AI service to identify gig details.

Supported behavior can change when delivery apps update. HGR is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these services.

3. Choose filters that match your work

Set your minimum pay, mileage, and pickup-location preferences. Start with a few filters so you can understand which offers qualify, then adjust them to fit your work.

For example, a high payout alone does not tell you whether a trip fits your day. Consider the distance to pickup, the delivery distance, and where you will finish. Your filter choices help narrow what you review; they do not guarantee earnings or available gigs.

4. Test before your next drive

Follow the detailed HGR setup guide for setup instructions and video walkthroughs.

Need help getting alerts?

Check that the selected workflow has its required access, that your filters allow the offer, and that your phone’s audio is audible. If the problem continues, tell support your Android version, HGR version, selected workflow, and what happened. Do not send passwords or private delivery details.
