This will be very important for Year 12. This will help you with multiple school assessments and the HSC.
The question usually asks how strategies can overcome/be impacted by influences or how the two things interact.
For example
- Explain the influence of global markets on financial management of businesses.
- Evaluate the response of operations management to external influences.
- Evaluate the response of human resource management to legal and ethical influences.
This section will be the only section you need for your case study Apple, QANTAS, Coca Cola or any other business of your choosing.
You should use the following structure in your essay writing to successful. To help, think of each paragraph as a funnel. Start off with all the options/strategies then narrow it down to one specific and then link back to the question.
The structure you need to follow is:
- Topic Sentence - This needs to be a general overview of what your paragraph will be about. Do not start with a definition.
- Definition of key business terms - This is section where you will outline the theory that will help answer the question. This section can be studied for with the glossary located in the textbook.
- Example - This is where you will integrate your case study. You can be a little less strict with the examples section as you integrate it with the explain or definitions section.
- Explain - This is where you will explain how the strategies and influences asked in the question how the two things impact each other
- Link - This is 1 or 2 sentences answering the question.
