For several years, I was a member of the Fulbright Alumni Association Chicago chapter. Here are a few articles from those experiences.
Though the blog above is relatively old, the experiences and insights we gained as a result of that year have layered into our lives in untold ways. Both of my daughters have since had their own year abroad, and we've twice hosted exchange students whose own cultural experiences and reflections mirrored our own.
Or at least my well-intentioned attempt at one before life and Covid highjacked my time...I will return to writing in the fall of 2023 if not for anyone else but myself!
