Sustained inquiry is more than just "looking something up". Inquiry is iterative, which means it takes time, more than a few days.  It has to do with students asking questions and finding different sources to answer them.  Then, coming up with deeper questions, the repetition of the process aims at  getting a satisfactory solution or answer.

It is important to incorporate different information sources such as: books, websites, but also real-world, field-based interviews with experts, service providers and users; even users of a prodcut they're creating or the audience for a piece of writing or multimedia.
