Student's work needs to have high quality, which is attained through thoughtful critique and revision. There is teacher and peer feedback, but also oustside adults and experts can contribute. In this way, authentic and real-world points of view are part of the critique and revision. In the end, there is not only feedback to students, but also students themselves evaluating the results of their learning.
Provide a date and time for peer critique, so that students can identify things they must improve in their product and/or inquiry. Give and receive constructive feedback from their peers and instructor.
Foster a growth mindset. Encourage students to embrace challenges and learn from failure. Learn from every single experience.
