Water Buffalo Dairy Farm is a small organic farm in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. We are proud to be a part of a local foods movement that is sweeping across our country.

Water Buffalo Diary Farm was the first water buffalo dairy farm to be licensed in the state of Texas. The farm is located in Dripping Springs, Texas which is just 20 miles west of Austin. The property is 30 acres and includes 3 ponds and borders on Onion Creek. We have several acres of lush green pastures where our animals graze daily.

Our herd consists of approximately 25 water buffalo and 2 Scottish Highland cows. Our water buffalo are full blooded Mediterranean Italian (Murrah) buffalo imported from Italy and Canada. The Murrah breed is known for its superior milk quality with high butterfat content and protein levels. Our Scottish Highland cows are also used for breeding stock and produce great tasting beef and milk just like the water buffalo.
