Farming Water Buffalo In Uk

I've never seen a water buffalo. I've never seen them in person, and haven't seen any pictures of them that look real. The only thing I know about them is that they're fatter, hornier and smellier than cows.

So it was a surprise to me when I found out that not only are there water buffalo in the UK, but there are full-blown water buffalo farms. One of these farms is just outside of Bristol and has several hundred head of water buffalo. The owners supply milk and meat to local outlets.

The restaurant at the farm has been featured in the Michelin "Where Chefs Eat" guidebook, and it serves some excellent ice cream made from water buffalo milk.

A few years ago a guy named Tim Ferriss came out with a book called The 4-Hour Workweek. It was basically a "how to" manual on being able to quit your day job and freelance write, like me. I read it in one sitting, built a site based on his advice, and left my job a few months later.

The 4-Hour Workweek is written in a friendly tone, so it reads more like an article than a book. But the stuff he talks about is pretty amazing. He's done all sorts of crazy things like farming water buffalo in Uk, putting on seminars for over $5,000 per head in college towns, and being paid to eat food at fancy restaurants.

He's gone from being broke as a joke to being rich as hell. And all of this happened in less than two years, so I'd say he knows what he's talking about.
