Integrate art by including the Art Specialist or have students create their own, take pictures and include in the final slide show or Google Site. Using Google Drawing have students use Google Drawing to create a representation from their topic. Students can create a meme, poster, trading card and much more, all free! Don't forget to include it into the final Google slide show or Site.
In addition to their memes and motivational posters, students can learn to ‘photoshop’ various images. Using this knowledge, they ‘photoshoped' their duck on a Wheaties Cereal Box.
Using Google Drawing,
click on Tools
Insert
Images
type in Wheaties Box (if you are creating a meme, type in whatever subject/person you will be using) No alcohol or smoking in the MEME!
Drag picture to drawing space
Research Rubber duck png (png files often give you a transparent background)
replace sports object with rubber duck picture - if there is no ball or object, then strategically place the duck in the picture
Download as jpg and save for your final project
*If you cannot find a duck with a transparent background you can use LunaPic (free)

Using a place from either history or their book, students had to create a postcard and have a character write back to them with details about the place of interest.
Using the "Explore" tool, have students get a past and present picture of a place, building or general location of a setting from the theme or book your class is reading.
Create a postcard from a character from the book.
The postcard should include some important information from the location.
