House of Prayer Handicap Ramps

House of Prayer has agreed to build 3 handicap ramps for families in need in the Milwaukee area this year. We will be contributing $400 to each of these ramps from your generous support of our First Fruits funds. The remainder of the costs will be covered by Revitalize Milwaukee. For each of these ramps, we will schedule one work morning at church to do some preassembly of the ramp and platform structures and to do some preliminary painting. We will also schedule 2 Saturday work days on site for each of these. While we have set up all of these work dates in advance, we will naturally need to remain flexible for weather and in the unexpected possibility that we only need one build day on site. To keep our building crew to a manageable level, we will be limiting our crew size to 12 people each Saturday. To help with everyone’s planning, we ask that you sign up ahead of time. We will also accept a couple of backups in the event any of you need to cancel at the last minute.

The great thing about these projects is that you need absolutely no experience as you will be expertly instructed and guided by a couple of experienced individuals and God. We welcome all ages to our pre-build days at church but prefer teens and older for the on-site work days. Our pre-build days at church will be from 9 AM until around 1 PM with donuts provided. Our work days on site will be from 8 AM until 4 PM with lunch provided.
