After School Activities
There are many afterschool activies that welcome homeschoolers. One program is your local 4H. According to the National 4H Counsel, 4H is a youth development organization focused on empowering young people with skills to lead for a lifetime. Through hands-on learning experiences, 4-H helps youth develop life skills, build character, and become contributing members of their communities. The organization's core values are represented by the four H's: Head, Heart, Hands, and Health
Athletics
Homeschoolers have a wide array of sports options available to them, including community travel leagues and leagues at local recreational centers, and private and charter school teams. They can even join public school teams if permitted by local regulations. Additionally, many non-traditional sports like archery, fencing, and even sailing are accessible to homeschoolers through various community organizations and clubs.
