Q: When do you stop enrolling for the current school year?
A: General enrollment ends the Monday after Labor Day. However, we accept late registration throughout the school year. Please contact the school to discuss enrollment after the school year has begun at hopewellacademyga@gmail.com.
Q: How many mandatory meetings are held?
A: We require families to attend two mandatory meeting with the Director per year, in-person, virtually, or by phone.
Q: What documentation are families required to submit to Hopewell Academy throughout the year?
A: Hopewell Academy requires transcripts and records from previous schools or previous homeschool records, as well as, test results. Hopewell Academy high school students must maintain a portfolio of their work for possible review. Parents will work with teachers and the administrator to attain this goal.
Q: Does Hopewell Academy require HSLDA membership?
A: No, but we highly recommend it. We recommend that homeschooling families join HSLDA. Even if you never experience legal trouble yourself, your HSLDA membership will help enable other homeschooling families to get the legal help they need and will help defend our right to homeschool here in Georgia. Membership in HSLDA also gives you personal access to the legal staff; HSLDA's experienced high school, struggling learners, and early years consultants; selling privileges at the HSLDA Curriculum Market; and discounts through HSLDA's PerX program.
