As an accredited institution, we are required by the Georgia Department of Education (DOE) to comply with all requirements for Non-Traditional Education Centers (NTCE). That means, that while parents are primarily responsible for homeschooling their child, it is Hopewell Academy’s responsibility to hold parents and students academically accountable for things such as curriculum, student progress, and assessments to name a few.
Our school has a governing body that makes sure all practices are meeting the required standards. All financial matters are reviewed and discussed. Staff and personnel are appointed to follow the directives that the governing body has set forth.
A ledger is maintained for each student to ensure that financial responsibilities of each student are met.
In addition to the financial matters, the governing body shall make sure that all educators follow practices that are in line with moral and ethical principles. All staff shall maintain a level of professionalism and competency.
