Dual Enrollment with Hopewell Academy
For high school students between grades 10 and 12, dual enrollment--taking college courses while in high school--may be an option for them. If this is a route you and you student wish to explore, Hopewell Academy will help in this process.
Later, we will provide GaFutures with your student’s transcript information in order for them to be considered for the Hope scholarship. If your student maintains a 3.0 gpa in their course work, which includes 4 courses from the approved rigor choices provided by the Georgia Department of Education, they will be eligible for the Hope scholarship their freshman year of college.
Take a look at this short video to get an idea of what dual enrollment looks like for Georgians.
If you are ready to start the process, follow the step-by-step application process highlighted in the Slides below. Then go to GA Futures and get started!
