What is a Stroke? A stroke is a disease that affects the arteries leading to and within the brain. According to the internet, it is the No. 5 cause of death of many. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain is either blocked by a clot or bursts.
The main cause of Stroke is high blood pressure. High blood pressure is the leading cause of stroke and people who have Diabetes often have it. These are the different symptoms of getting Stroke:
Numbness or weakness in your face, arm, or leg, especially on 1 side of the body.
Having trouble understanding people/confusion.
Difficulty in speaking.
Trouble seeing with 1 or both eyes.
Having a hard time to walk or to stay balanced.
Stroke
A Stroke, also sometimes called a Brain attack, it occurs when something blocks the supply of blood to a part of the brain or when a blood vessel in the brain bursts. In other cases, parts of the brain die or become damaged. Sometimes, a stroke can cause lasting brain damage or even death.
HOW TO PREVENT GETTING A STROKE:
Choose healthy foods and healthy beverages because it is risky to eat too much junk foods.
Don't drink too much alcohol because it can also cause Stroke.
Don't eat too much candy because it these may cause Diabetes which could lead to a Stroke.
Don't smoke. Smoking is a major cause of Stroke. This will affect your Respiratory system and not necessarily but possibly transform your lungs to the color black. Remember that this can also cause a Stroke to occur.
Make sure to keep a healthy weight. Being overweight or Obese can increase the possibilities of getting a Stroke.
