Cambridge requires CELTA participants to fulfill the following entry requirements:

1. You must be at least  18 years old.

2. You must have an advanced level of English, equivalent to CEFR C1+ Level. This is to ensure that you can teach high-level learners in teaching practice and complete the assignments.

3. You don't need to have a degree, but you must be educated to the standard required for entry into higher education.

In addition, you must complete the pre-interview task and the interview by a CELTA trainer.

*Please note that if you decide not to join the course after being interviewed and accepted by the tutors, you will be charged MYR 250 interview fee.
