This site was created by national counselors from the English Inspectorate. It is meant for the teachers in the Hi Tech English for Junior High program. It provides explanations and instructions for speaking activities to be implemented in the English lessons of this program.

Dr. Maha Alawdat holds a Ph.D. in Composition and TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Master Degree in foreign English Literature from Ben Gurion University in Israel. Currently, she teaches at Kaye College and Ort Abu Rabe’a Multidisciplinary School. She is also a member of the national English Advisory Committee of the MOE. During her career, she received several awards including Fulbright Scholarship from the American Embassy, the Teaching Excellence Award from IUP, Graduate Women’s Leadership, Dissertation Completion, and the Exceptional English Teacher Award from the MOE. She also has published articles, poems, and books. Her interests are digital media for Education, Multiculturalism and intercultural communications, Professional development, Digital Writing, and storytelling.
Ros Rubinstein

Ros Rubinstein has an M.Ed. in language education from Levinksy College of Education. She also has a certificate in remedial English language teaching from Nitzan, is a qualified neurolanguage coach, and participated in the first Google Academy for teachers. She has also completed two courses through the American Embassy in content-based instruction (CBI) and educational technology and has studied information management through the Technion. She currently teaches at Aviv High School. Over the years, she has been involved in all kinds of exciting projects all of which help to keep her teaching fresh and interesting.
Together, we are creating a program for our students that will benefit them in the future and will provide them with skills that they need in the workplace of the 22nd century.
Dr. Noa Libman

Dr. Noa Libman holds a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from Bar Ilan University and is also a lawyer. She teaches English and diplomacy at high school as well as lecturing at a teachers' college. Her areas of interest include audio-visual translation, debate and teacher education.
Dana Koren

Dana Koren is an English Language Education professional currently serving as a National Counselor at the Israeli Ministry of Education. With a background in marketing research, Dana transitioned to education and has since taught English as a Foreign Language in several Israeli high schools. She has also worked as a Pedagogical Counselor at Levinsky-Wingate Academic College. In her current role, Dana is involved in implementing Ministry of Education Moodle courses and developing the Amat-Tech program for Junior High. She holds an MBA and a Bachelor's Degree in Business & Sociology from Tel Aviv University.
