Experimental Archaeology

Most members of our Hist 290: Experimental Archaeology also decided on food-related projects for the "Experimental Archaeology at Home" projects due mid-April. These take a different format from the 100-level projects, because they are designed for distribution on social media and created by individual students. Unlike the virtual recipes, our students were required to make and photo-document the dishes they chose. And it is perfectly legitimate in Experimental Archaeology for something to "fail" in the sense of being too weird for modern tastes!
