Read Across America Day

This year HTPD officers visited Hillsborough elementary schools in support of Read Across America Day. Read Across America is a program sponsored by the National Education Association. It "is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss" (Background on Read Across America).
