Objectives

The aim of the module is for the student

• practice using math to solve problems and learn to trust their own mathematical abilities

• learns to form expressions and equations for given problems and to solve equations and interpret the obtained solution

• is able to apply number sequences and the sums formed from them in solving mathematical problems

• be able to use software to study a polynomial function and in applications related to polynomial equations and polynomial functions.
