Classroom Behavior Policies

In fifth grade, we emphasize the "LEADERS" standards of behavior - Leadership, Excellence, Accountability, Discovery, Engage, Respect, and Stewardship. In addition, we frequently discuss safety and hold students accountable for acting in ways that keep everyone safe. 

We set routines and habits for good behavior and practice them often! When students know exactly what to expect and what they should be doing, it makes it that much easier for them to do the right thing. We give positive rewards, like LEADERS tickets, to students who are going above and beyond in demonstrating the LEADERS attributes.
