APA Style Citations

The HHMS Social Studies Department uses APA style citations. Each article must be cited. Citation machines on the internet are very helpful in converting an article into a citation which you can copy and paste to your journal assignment.

Example of APA citation for a printed newspaper article:

Last, F. M. (Year, Month Date Published). Article title. Newspaper Title, pp. Page(s).

Example of APA citation for an online news article:

Online articles follow the same guidelines for printed articles. Include all information the online host makes available, including an issue number in parentheses.
