Fox Rocks Living Rooms Nationwide

For those of you who had upcoming concert events cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak, Fox presented to you “The iHeart Living Room Concert for America” on March 29.

Hosted by Elton John, this living room concert was a fundraiser for health care workers and first responders working on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic. The donations raised by the benefit concert are going to Feeding America, a non-profit organization that feeds more than 46 million people through its network of more than 200 food banks, and First Responders Children's Foundation, which provides support to the families of first responders who are struggling financially during this unprecedented time.

“Here we are, all together at home. You have got your family and loved ones and I am keeping mine close, too. We are taking care of each other, looking out for each other, doing what we can during this crisis," John said to kickoff the program. "There is a lot of grief out there, uncertainty and fear. But let me tell you what is going to keep us together. All the goodness that is happening in the world...All those doctors, nurses and scientists on the frontlines. They are living proof that most superheroes do not wear capes,” John said.

This hour-long concert featured the biggest names in music, including Billie Eilish, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, the Backstreet Boys, Tim McGraw, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Camila Cabello, H.E.R. and Sam Smith, as well as special appearances from Lizzo and Lady Gaga.

All of these artists performed from their homes and filmed themselves with their personal cell phones, cameras and audio equipment.

In case you missed this event, you can stream this concert free on the iHeartRadio App. Fox ditched commercials for the concert, instead using breaks to encourage viewers to help Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation, two of the many charitable organizations helping victims and first responders during this pandemic.
