Osakabe-hime

Osakabe-hime (長壁姫) is a powerful yokai said to reside in Himeji Castle, appearing as a noblewoman with vast supernatural knowledge. Though sometimes depicted as a fearsome entity punishing trespassers, other legends describe her as a guardian spirit who only reveals herself to those she deems worthy.
