Taxation is covered by two laws in Helheim

2.4 - Merchants and trade outside of the Helheim Markets or Docks frontage must be sanctioned by the Crown or Nobility and is subject to taxation.
3.1 - Tax evasion is a crime and can be described as a failure to pay taxes, or the intentional provision of false business information to the Crown or its delegate.

| An exemption can be gained by having goods certified by the Huntress Family Alchemist Guild
If someone is interested in working at a Crown Business, they can either contact the listed Managers responsible for overseeing these businesses or reach out to the Crown Staff to explore employment opportunities within the business. Only the Faction Lead and 2iC can hire in new Managers. The list of Crown Staff can be found on the Nobility & Counties Page.

| Contact the faction leader or 2iC to help run a business or manager if there is one listed on the businesses page
| Businesses run by individuals out of their personal dwellings
| These are rentals which are converted in to business - if run as IC shops, they lose their OOC protection when regarding In-Character Consequences for actions such as illegal businesses, law breaking, etc
| Merchants and crafters selling their wares either at the markets or docklands frontage
| Subject to business licensing and taxed on departure from the kingdom
Traders/crafters coming in to Helheim are assumed to have business permits if trading in the markets and dock front so they can RP trading and crafting without OOC hurdles
Traders wishing to not be charged the additional 20% import tax must RP this out with the {HH} Family Huntress Alchemy guild
All tax in Helheim can be paid in HuD coin to feed the economy, helping pay for events, wages, etc. or just RP coin
Tax is an opt-out system. Everyone is assumed to be paying their taxes unless they RP not doing so
