Welcome to Heather's Portfolio
During my virtual computer build I used the website https://pcpartpicker.com to build my dream Pc setup. During, this assignment I had free range to pick out whatever materials I desired. As someone who doesn't own a Pc and is not familiar with the parts needed I found this experience to be quite interesting. Going into it with zero knowledge I chose my parts by looking at each product that had the best reviews. You'd be surprised to see that some of the cheaper options had better reveiw then the most expensive. For my build I had to pick out a CPU, mother board, memory, video card, case, storage, CPU cooler, OS, and three extra accessory items. After places of my choices into the cart my total came out to $2,011.17. Now lets go into detail about all off my Pc parts that I picked out, Please click this link to check out my cart! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

The lesson that I have gathered from building my Pc was that the CPU is the one of the more important parts to seek when purchasing a Pc. The CPU is the main processing center for the Pc. The CPU is the main source of power that helps make process data, store memory, and interpreting commands. When looking to purchase a CPU you want to get one that holds as much power as you may need. Another important piece of information I took away from my Pc build is the most expensive parts don't always been that they are the best. I recommend to anyone looking to build their own Pc setup to find a few reputable sites and read reviews on the parts your interested in purchasing.
