My Approach

I recognise that it takes courage to seek therapy and I offer a warm welcome to help people feel comfortable and at ease.

When I first meet with someone, we begin to explore what it is they are wanting help with and we agree a way of working together.

Sessions are for fifty minutes and appointments are usually weekly at the same time and same day.

The therapeutic relationship offers a unique opportunity to look at your issues in a particular environment, which is accepting and nonjudgemental, a space to slow down and reflect, so that new awarenesses and insights can emerge. I offer a mindful presence, gently noticing what is being experienced in the room.

My core training is as an Integrative Counsellor, employing a humanistic and person centred approach.
