My Approach

I offer a space where you can explore past patterns in order to bring increased awareness and understanding to the present, opening up possibilities for change and personal growth.  We often reach a point in our lives where our old wasy of coping aren't working anymore, or our old patterns are getting in the way of us being our full selves.  This can be experienced as a crisis point, when things come to a head, which can feel difficult and challenging but is a great time to come to therapy and explore what's happening so we can move on with our lives. 

I recognise that it takes courage to engage in therapy, and I offer a warm welcome.  I am friendly and easy to talk to.   Together we can explore your particular situation to better understand your experiences and find a way forward.

The first session is an opportunity to share your story, to reflect on what's been happening for you to seek therapy at this time and to think about what you'd like to achieve.  This is also a time to meet and see if we both feel we can work together - it's really important to find someone that you feel comfortable with.
